“The Golden Fern” Slow Stich Workshop with Sienna Larson

Sunday, November 8th | 12 pm – 2 pm

Celebrate the beauty of autumn by stitching an elegant golden fern. Using just two simple embroidery stitches, backstitch and detached daisy stitch, you’ll create a graceful botanical design while learning techniques that can be used in many future embroidery projects.

With the busy holiday season just around the corner, this 2-hour workshop offers a chance to set everything else aside for a couple of hours and enjoy the simple pleasure of stitching. Whether you’re new to embroidery or an experienced stitcher, you’ll leave with new skills and knowledge, along with an embroidered piece of art to enjoy on your wall, in a frame, or wherever you choose to display it.

Textile artist Sienna Larson teaches creates a relaxed, supportive learning environment where you learn at your own pace. Her workshops focus on enjoying the creative process, not the pressure of perfection. No previous embroidery experience is needed. All materials are provided.

Tuition is $55 per student with an additional materials fee of $20 paid by cash or check to the instructor at the time of the class.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
